For ten consecutive years, The Oakroom has been and continues
to be Kentucky's only AAA Five Diamond restaurant. Executive
Oakroom Chef Todd Richards continuously explores the countryside
of Kentucky and the Kentucky region (Southern Indiana &
Western Ohio), to find unadulterated ingredients for his modern
approach of menu design, food preparation and artistic expression.
A local food critic, Susan Reigler, dons him "The Bluegrass
Iron Chef".
Along with the menu changes, The Oakroom has also added a
superb entertainment and dining series. Every Sunday during brunch, the dining experience is enhanced
by pianist Rachel Grimes of the modern classical group The
Rachel's.
